The Savannah Desk and Credenza Collection creates a gentle atmosphere with all the elegance and serenity of true Southern comfort.
Our designer styling of the Savannah Executive Desk and Credenza Collection uses ultra exotic Jichimu wood veneer on the sides and drawer fronts, and American Maple wood veneer on the desktops. The Jichimu wood is stained with our Dark-Cherry finish, and the Maple wood is stained in our Natural finish. The scratch resistant top coat illuminates the luster of the Jichimu and Maple hardwood grains in this high quality desk and credenza. The curved design of the wood desk and credenza corners requires the skill of our master cabinetmakers.
Jichimu wood (pronounced zhee’-chee-mu) is a very rare and ultra-exotic hardwood that comes from trees in the very remote and isolated areas of Mongolia and distant China. Jichimu wood was used historically to make royal furniture for the Ching Palace during the Ming Dynasty era of China.
The Savannah Desk is available in 3 sizes: 7 feet, 8 feet, and 9 feet. Each desk includes a built in side credenza containing a box drawer, a file drawer (letter and legal), a cabinet with hide-away doors to conceal your printer, and a computer cabinet under the desk. Another drawer pedestal is included on the opposite side of the desk contains a box drawer and file drawer. A wiring channel is concealed under the desk to channel cables to telephones and a video monitor on your desk. The wires are fed through through 2 grommet holes onto the desktop. All drawers in this high quality desk are made with solid wood “dovetail joint” frames that use German made Silent System drawer slides to open smoothly and close automatically and quietly with pneumatic shock absorbers. The drawer slides are concealed under the drawers so the drawers appear to magically float out when they are opened. We have extended the front modesty panel of the Savannah desk to be down to 8 inches above the floor.

Drawers open and close easily with the worlds finest German auto closing sliders that are concealed under the drawers for better performance and appearance. Drawers have central locking systems. All file drawers in these executive desks and credenzas have steel file folder frames that accommodate American letter and legal size Pendaflex™ folders. Unsightly screws are hidden from view. A covered channel is milled into the desk to hide your computer and telephone wires. We have thought of it all and included it for your enjoyment and pride of ownership in our professional desks.
MATERIALS ENGINEERING by jazzyexpo.com: All drawers in these executive desks and credenzas are lined with soft thick black leather-like material on the bottom (for noise control when you throw your keys or metal objects into the desk). The drawer frames are made with above standard 5/8" thick solid wood connected with "fingergrip dovetail" joints (the highest quality in cabinet technology). AAA quality real wood veneer, Italian scratch and water resistant top coat paint, and premium "E1A" environmentally safe MDF as our core material (our MDF is 3 times stronger than particle board) are selectively chosen for our executive desks and credenzas. Note, we do not allow particle board to be used in our executive desks and credenzas.
FEATURES: The main section of this executive desk has a beautiful scratch resistant finish, a thick leather-like in-laid writing surface, a concealed embedded desk-top center drawer, a side desk drawer and file drawer cabinet, and cable inlets on the desk top for telephone and computer cables which are routed through concealed wiring channels. The included Side-Credenza of these professional desks have 2 file drawers, 2 standard drawers, a computer cabinet, and a slide-out printer cabinet with hide-away slide-in doors (exception: the 7'6" model side credenza has one standard & file drawer).
SIZES:The Savannah Credenza is available in the one 7' wide size, and contains 8 drawers: 4 box drawers over 4 file drawers. The deeper file drawers hold legal or letter size hanging folders. A small modesty panel has been added under the length of the credenza for strength and to compliment the modesty panel under the desk.
